About Essential Oils
You may already be familiar with the many benefits of essential oils as they have gained mainstream popularity over the past few years. There seems to be an oil for just about every mood or ailment, as well as various applications, which I will touch on below. Be sure to do your own research in regards to benefits and purchasing oils - they are not all created equal! There are many essential oil brands to choose from, so before purchasing you will want to be sure the oils are pure and of good quality.
What is an essential oil?
An essential oil is produced from a plant that has been steam or pressure distilled to generate the chemical compound from the plant - its odor and flavor in a concentrated form. Many of these concentrated plant chemicals have beneficial and medicinal attributes. These oils can be used as part of a daily wellness routine, as well as assist with mental and physical ailments.
